Alex Edwards

Alex graduated from the Northern Ballet School and has been dancing since she was 4. She started her training at her local dance school (Yasmin Taylor Academy of Dance) and later became a Senior Associate at Central School of Ballet and London Studios.

In 2003 she performed with the English Youth Ballet in their production of Coppelia at Kings’ Theatre, Southsea.

In her second year at NBS Alex decided to focus on Musical Theatre, and has taken part in various productions at the Dance House Theatre, Manchester .

Alongside her dance training she studied for, and passed her FDI Exams for teaching ISTD Tap and Modern and now plans to continue with her teaching qualifications locally. Since returning to Hampshire Alex has joined a local Street Dance/Hip Hop Crew and she is currently available to teach Ballet, Tap, Street Dance and Contemporary dance.
