Jez started singing at a very young age when he attended Westminster Cathedral Choir school for five years. During his time as a chorister he recorded more than a dozen albums and achieved first place in Britain ’s ‘Choirboy of the Year’ competition which led to various appearances on television.

After gaining a BA in Music from Exeter University he developed a passion for the theatre. His theatre credits include: The Far Pavilions (West End); Pirate King, Pirates of Penzance (Nuffield); Billy Flynn, Chicago (Northcote); A Walk with the Angels (ICA); Frank Sinatra, Legends of Swing (Tour); Phantom of the Opera (Tour); Pharaoh, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (West End); Starkey, Peter Pan (Oxford Playhouse); Man II, I Love You Your Perfect Now Change (Kings Head and Edinburgh festival); Mendel in Woody Allen’s Murder Mysteries (Croydon Warehouse) multiple roles in Pacific Overtures (Leicester Haymarket Theatre), Tinman in Wizard Of Oz (Leicester Haymarket Theatre), Bing Crosby in Christmas Crooners (tour) the recent West End revival of Evita (Adelphi theatre) and the role of Guillaume in Craig revel Horward's revival of Martin Guerre at the Watermill Theatre. Most recently Jez played the title role of Don Giovanni in Mozart’s opera of the same name at the New Vic theatre in Newcastle directed by Chris Monks. The production was met with critical acclaim and received 5 stars in the Guardian Newspaper review.

Jez is also an accomplished jazz and swing singer and has performed his music countrywide and on several cruise ships including the World Cruise on Cunards QEII. He is guest and resident singer with various top big bands including the Nick Ross Orchestra, The Big Swing, Bluejuice and the Scarborough Spa Orchestra and in the corporate entertainment world he is a regular guest with The Rat Pack’s Back and Masquerade productions to name but a few. In October 2008 Jez spent two months as guest vocalist at the Prestigious Venetian Macao, Hong Kong , the world’s largest casino.
