Lara-Jean started Performing Arts from the tender age of 3. She studied locally in Southampton and entered local festivals and competitions in drama, dance and singing. Her real passion is dance and she went on to study GCSE Dance a year earlier than her peers and became a member of Hampshire Youth Dance Company whilst completing her A- levels in Performing Arts and English Literature.

Lara–Jean then went on to University where she was awarded a BA Honors in Dance Studies and English Literature and after travelling the world, she completed her Musical Theatre training at Italia Conti Arts Centre, London. While at Italia Conti, Lara -Jean completed her Advanced 2 Tap and Modern and Advanced 1 Ballet, and gained her ISTD Certificate in Tap and Modern Dance and FDI in Ballet. She also participated in a professional cheerleading squad and has completed her UKCA Cheerleading Level 2 Award.

Lara-Jean's performance experience include most recently Entertainment Manager and solo singer and dancer for TMC services in Cyprus, The Brits 2008, backing dancer for "DJ Caspar Cha Cha slide" (top 10 hit on CD UK.), Thomas Cook Overseas, local pantomimes and as a dancer at Wimbledon Theatre London as well as lots of performance experience whilst studying including playing the lead role in Hairspray The Musical.

Lara- Jean also has extensive teaching experience in many schools around Hampshire, teaching all aged from tots to adults all dance genres. Her specialist subjects are Cheer Dance, Jazz, Modern Tap, Ballet and Musical Theatre. As a versatile teacher Solo Teachers are delighted to represent Lara-Jean.
