Holly Driscoll will be the new dance teacher at a performing arts academy in Amesbury, Wiltshire which is owned by Sam Holloway.

Sam kindly chose to use Solo Teachers when she was desperate to find a dance teacher to join her new business venture.

Solo Teachers hold lessons at Taunton’s College, Southampton

Solo Teachers are excited to announce that they will be holding lessons for beginners at Taunton’s College, Hill Lane in Southampton every Thursday evening from the 1st March 2010 in Latin Ballroom and Egyptian Bellydance!

Latin Ballroom will run from 7-8pm and Egyptian Bellydance will run from 8-9pm.

The classed will be run by our qualified teachers, Anna Dockeray and Maria Hilliard and are priced at £5.50 per person.

Solo Teachers urgently require Ballet teachers

Southampton


Solo Teachers urgently require a Ballet teacher to teach a new adult class in Southampton. You must have your RAD or ISTD associates in Ballet and must be competent in teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and must be able to teach pointe work.

Solo Teachers urgently require Break-Dance teachers

Solo Teachers urgently requires 2 teachers for their client in Eastleigh. The first is a Break - Dance teacher for lessons which will take place on a Friday evening from 5pm-6pm and this class will be for 8-16 year olds. The class is due to start on the 16th November 2009.

The second teacher is required to teach 'Disability Dance' on a Monday from 5-6pm and on a Friday from 11-12.30pm.

Both position are permanent and you must be able to commit to a weekly lesson. All teachers must have a valid CRB.

Caroline Wright gives seminar at the University of Winchester

Winchester UniversityThe 5th of February 2009, saw Caroline Wright, Creative Director of the Solo Enterprise, give an inspiring seminar to undergraduate students at the University of Winchester for their annual enterprise conference.


Caroline was able to give valuable information and life experience to over 150 students, on setting up her own companies as a female entrepreneur and the students were also able to ask their questions about the current economic climate and small businesses ventures.

Solo Teachers work with new performing arts school, Portsmouth

Solo Teachers Logo Solo Teachers have been working with “Act – Up”, a new Saturday school which runs classes in dance, drama and vocals for children from 11-16 years. Solo Teachers have supplied the school with two of their teachers, Holly Driscoll, who teaches dance and Hannah Cope who teaches vocals.

We look forward to a strong working relationship with the school and its founder Rebecca Baxter.

Solo Teachers work with Testwood Community College for another year!

Solo Teachers have been used by Testwood Sports College for the 2nd year running.
 The school hires three of our peripatetic teachers, Geoff Lea, Lyndsay Barnbrook and Josh Carr to teach their pupils in Vocal, Guitar and Percussion.
The pupil’s talent and passion for music has significantly been improved thanks to the work done with our teachers.

Solo Teachers at University of Winchester

Caroline Wright, Solo Teachers Director will be an associated lecturer for undergraduate students from October at University of Winchester.
  She will be teaching Performance Management which will aid 2nd year students in setting up their own businesses and discovering the entrepreneurial skills and she is very excited about educating others on the benefits of franchising a business.

Solo Teachers & Taunton’s Sixth Form College

Wendy Tweedle, has been teaching Dance at Tauntons Sixth Form College in Southampton for the last 6 months but she has sadly had to leave and she wanted to say a big thank you to both pupils and staff at the college.
  Wendy is hoping to return to teach at the college in the near future.
